Paul Wurth, MS

Embarking on the transformative journey of counseling is a deeply fulfilling endeavor, one that I'm passionate about. Guiding individuals through life's challenges, helping them navigate the complexities of their emotions, and uncovering their true selves along the way is not just my profession, but my calling.

Each person's story is unique, shaped by their triumphs and setbacks. By delving into the past, we gain clarity on where we've been, paving the way for a brighter future. I find joy in listening to your experiences, offering support, and assisting you in finding the path to inner peace.

My practice integrates a variety of modalities, tailored to meet your specific needs and preferences. Whether through cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, or psychodynamic exploration, we'll work collaboratively to uncover effective strategies for your personal growth and healing.

Specializing in adolescents, young adults, and adults, I address a spectrum of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and everyday stressors. Through compassionate guidance, I strive to empower individuals to overcome obstacles and thrive.

Originating from Northwest Iowa, my journey led me to the Iowa Air National Guard, where I've served as a flight medic since 2014. Later, I pursued my undergraduate studies at the University of South Dakota, earning a BS in Exercise Science in 2018. Transitioning to Sioux Falls, I immersed myself in inpatient treatment, igniting my passion for counseling. In 2022, I obtained my MS in Clinical Psychology and Clinical Counseling from Capella University.

Beyond my professional pursuits, I cherish moments with family, play rounds of golf (when the weather cooporates), and of course work around the house. I eagerly anticipate the opportunity to accompany you on your path towards healing and growth.
